Tracy’s Priorities

When you’ve kids to feed and bills to pay,
there’s no time for politics.

✓ Expand Housing and End Mass Homelessness

Tracy worked hard to successfully pass two historic, bipartisan housing packages over the last couple years. They will open up buildable land so that more homes can be built to alleviate our housing shortage to drive down prices. She also supported provisions thay would provide funding for the development of more housing, specifically for our agricultural workers and victims of sexual violence. It also includes more shelter beds for homeless people and is helping move Oregonians into permanent housing.

✓ Make Oregon Affordable for Working Families

Tracy Cramer is a small business owner who understands what it takes to meet a payroll and navigate the ever-higher cost to live and do business in Oregon. Working families are struggling to afford rising costs because of inflation. Some of these are a result of federal policy, but the Legislature isn't making things better.

Along with expanding affordable housing, Tracy supports efforts to roll back regulations that are driving record increases in our utility bills. PGE has proposed raising rates another 7% after their 17% increase early this year because of government mandates that require utility companies to buy more expensive, less reliable energy.

✓ A Leader in Drug Reform

Oregon's streets are a mess. Whether they are filled with tents, aluminum foil for smoking fentanyl, or with crime, Oregonians don't feel safe like they used to.

Tracy helped to repeal Measure 110, and replace it with a system that prioritizes treatment over enabling people struggling with addiction, and voted to tighten restrictions on fentanyl.

As a mom, Tracy understands that a little tough love goes a long way. That's why she supported additional funding for law enforcement and the tools to help them do what they do best: protect us. She also voted to put more law enforcement officers in our schools to keep kids safe.

✓ Support for Our Communities

When the City of Woodburn was fighting with the state government to get funding for a local community center, Tracy worked with Governor Kotek and local city leaders to successfully release funds to the city.

Tracy helped secure funding for the Willamette Career Academy's career and technical education programs for students in Woodburn, Gervais, and North Marion County. She also brought our tax dollars back home for the El Camp Community soccer field in Salem and air quality upgrades in the East Salem Community Center.
